About Me

My name is Kayla, and I am the owner of Held By Grace Bakery.
The name Held By Grace is more than a business name—it is my testimony.
My life has not always been easy. I have walked through addiction, loss, trauma, brokenness, and seasons where I felt completely lost. I have experienced hardships that at times seemed impossible to overcome, including the loss of my mother and struggles that left me searching for hope, healing, and purpose.
Yet through every season, God remained faithful.
Even when I could not see His hand, He never stopped holding me. Through His grace, mercy, and unconditional love, He began restoring what was broken and teaching me that my past did not define my future.
One of the most difficult seasons of my life came through the loss of my beloved dog, Remy. The grief was overwhelming, and the pain felt crushing. But it was also during that season that God began revealing something deeper to me. In the middle of heartbreak, He showed me purpose. He reminded me that even when life breaks our hearts, He remains near to the brokenhearted and carries us through what we cannot carry on our own.
That season helped give birth to Held By Grace Bakery.
What started as a love for baking became something much bigger—a way to serve others, share kindness, and reflect the goodness of God in everyday moments. Every dessert I make is prepared with gratitude for how far God has brought me and with the hope that something as simple as a homemade treat can bring comfort, joy, and connection to others.
Giving back is also an important part of my mission. Whenever possible, extra baked goods are shared with those in need because I believe everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and cared for.
My prayer is that this bakery serves as a reminder that no matter what you have walked through, there is hope. There is healing. There is redemption. The same grace that carried me through loss, grief, addiction, and brokenness is available to all of us.
Thank you for supporting my small business and for allowing me to share a small piece of my story with you.
